Located in the heart of downtown Elkins, the Elkins Depot Welcome Center carries informational brochures on music and arts, food and lodging options, train excursions, outdoor recreational opportunities and regional attractions. The Elkins Depot Welcome Center is the exclusive Welcome Center for Elkins-Randolph County Tourism, CVB. Over 42,000 visitors come to the Center each year to find information on lodging, eateries, historic sites, museums, music venues, train excursions, and current events. Elkins offers a variety of unusual museums and shops, as well as diverse restaurants.
Located in the 1908 Western Maryland Railroad depot, the Elkins Depot Welcome Center is part of historic downtown Elkins and the departure location for the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad’s Elkins excursion trains.
