With Indiana’s most beautiful state park, Steuben County is a family-friendly getaway. You’ll also find a winery, a buffalo preserve, the new Indiana Rail Experience and outlet shopping in the home of 101 lakes.
Pokagon State Park features nine hiking trails, an interpretive nature center, guided horseback trail rides and the beautiful Potawatomi Inn that overlooks Lake James. The Indiana Rail Experience offers a variety of themed train rides including “Donuts and Dads,” “Indiana Ice Cream Train” and “Wine and Chocolate Train.”
Head over to Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve and see the herd up close via an open-air vehicle. Enjoy samples of locally-produced Satek wines and head out to dinner at one of our unique restaurants.
