Interesting place. History of my adopted town I never knew about.

If you are new to TN or just passing through this is a great place to take a photo! I visited this many years ago then just recently. I love TN and if you do too it’s close and convenient with directions. This morning I spoke with the Chamber of Commerce regarding my concerns for this Landmark. Sadly, some like to write on Plaques and leave their trash:( The Cultural Arts Department will be addressing these issues to get this back to its intended desired look. Also, I suggested a Sign to let you know it’s there without directions. I shared this place with someone who has been living here ten years who never saw it in person. Another nicety would be perhaps a State Flag maybe up top. With some beautification it will be perfect. Go check it out for yourself!

The marker for the geographical center of Tennessee is nice. However, parking is limited and there is a lot of litter in the area, at least at the moment. It is like a block from Middle Tennessee State University.

If you haven’t been here you need to stop by. Pretty cool to know where the middle of the state is located.

It is easy to overlook because the area is so small. It could be an important destination if improved and given its rightful place as a unique landmark. This is a tourism enhancement opportunity for the city that's too precious to miss!

Not big or fancy but I think it is cool to stand on the center of our state. My daughter and I took a few pictures. Very nice.
