My family and I stayed at Dunlap Ridge cabins for our Christmas celebration this year and it was amazing! The view was astonishing and the cabins were spacious enough to host my family. Both cabins we stayed in had hot tubs that we were able to enjoy! The amenities of these cabins were amazing. Everything was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season, which included a Christmas tree in both cabins. Everything about the cabins were in perfect condition. We all had a blast and would 100% visit again!!

My wife and I recently stayed for 2 nights in the Den to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Reilly was so attentive to detail and provided us with a welcome note for our anniversary. It was a very kind touch. The location was not difficult to find. Once you make it to the property, the signs direct you to your cabin. We were about 15 min from Logan and only 10 minutes to Rock House and about 20 minutes to the Hocking Hills visitors center. The design and amenities in this place are so great you don't want to leave! It's a private cabin in the woods with a hot tub and a beautiful wrapping deck. We had a great bonfire (careful, the Solo stove gets hot!), enjoyed S'mores, relaxed in the tub, had coffee on the deck. Loved the modern design of the entire place. Host (Reilly) was easy to communicate with and they checked into see if anything was needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So, I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, haha. It was my first time visiting Hocking Hills and the Dunlap Ridge cabins did not disappoint, I couldn’t recommend more. If you’re thinking about visiting the area, don’t hesitate—book it! My first impression upon opening the cabin door was “wow, so pretty! I love the decor!” and it’s so true. If I could give the designer a prize I would. Seriously. The room just feels so cozy and lively. Made me want to spend all day curled up on the couch and staring at the breathtaking view through the (actually massive, really) windows. Some things included inside the cabin that I really liked were games! There was a drawer that had a couple card games like uno, regular cards and another dice game. There was also a chessboard on the coffee table. So nice! I love playing games so I loved that it was there. It’s good to pass the time when you’re not on any hikes and you’re just chilling in the cabin. Also! There was a record player and a basket full of some really nice records! I had fun exploring those. In the picture included in this review I have Hotel California on. So good. Outside of the cabin there were some really cool amenities like a hot-tub, a sauna and some chairs around a fire-pit. The hosts were nice and left us a little package with some marshmallows, chocolate chips and biscuits. At night, we lit up the fire-pit and made some s'more's. That was nice! Overall, I recommend Dunlap Ridge cabins for anyone! They’re kind of in the middle of Hocking Hills so close enough to the hikes. We went on the Ash cave trail and it was about 18 min away. I loved how the cabins are literally inside of the forest, you can hear the nature sounds and really feel the energy. It’s so calming. Anyway, that’s it! 10/10, 5/5 stars. Amazing! Good job to the hosts and everyone else involved in the making of this space. Truly magical.

Our stay at the Squire Cabin was absolutely amazing! We stayed at the cabin for a weekend getaway with friends, and it was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and make lasting memories. The cabin was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect mix of comfort and rustic charm. The large living room with a cozy fireplace made it easy for us to gather around and enjoy each other's company.

I recently had a fantastic stay at Dunlap Ridge Cabins, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The cabin itself is brand new and features up-to-date finishes with beautiful and tasteful decor. It was impeccably clean and well-organized, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The amenities are top-notch, including a hot tub, sauna, deck, fireplace, and reliable wifi. The location is perfect—only an hour from Columbus and close to all the major hikes and attractions like Old Man's Cave, Cantwell Cliffs, Ash Cave, and many more. It's an ideal base for exploring the area. The host was incredibly attentive, sending a helpful email with a PDF detailing the house and its amenities. Upon arrival, there was a personalized letter welcoming me, and the host even offered to stock the refrigerator and checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. Since it's brand new, booking a stay here might require some luck with availability, but it's absolutely worth it. The attention to detail at Dunlap Ridge Cabins far exceeds that of other cabins in the area. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for adventure, this place is a gem. Highly recommended!

I cannot believe how modern this “cabin in the woods “is. The hosts were incredibly generous. We had a wonderful time. Seven of us fit comfortably. I was absolutely amazed at how modern and functional all of the appliances were. I am definitely coming back. I would love to show some photos, we were all just 100% focused on having a great time instead of staring at our phones.

It’s all in the details. This set up is just that. From the welcome email, to the decor, outdoor set up including the gas grill and amazing hot tub. Our experience was above and beyond in every way. The sooner you are able to book a cabin on this property, the sooner you will become a raving fan, just as I am. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

We went to the Nest and it was amazing, there was great views and it was close to all the different hikes throughout Hocking Hills. There is a beautiful fire pit and hot tub just outside the cabin with lots of privacy.
