We stayed at the Shores of Panama Cory Beach. The price for this rental was not bad. Very clean inside, with the exception that the cookware needs to be replaced. I would ask at booking if it has been since this review. More blankets would have been nice, can sleep on the couch, but the extra bedding was only sheets. More than enough towels, which was great for us, since I had five kids and keep those hung up and clean is impossible! The patio furniture was updated since the pictures that were posted, which was nice. Nice find in the patio truck was some beach and pool stuff. There was one working/not rusty beach chair which was perfect for me! Plenty of room in the bed rooms which was nice. There were like 8 remotes for the tv, not all had batteries, but one does work on the living room tv, so don't give up :-) no hall closet, so whom ever uses the bunk beds will have to figure out clothing storage, my girls just used the bathroom, as it had some extra moving room. The parking spot is a parallel spot, but it is right next to the hall way that leads to the room and elevators, so that was wonderful. The only thing i would say was a negative was the ceiling leaking in the hall bathroom from the condo above, but it was in the shower, so it did not ruin our trip, and then the cookware that needs to be replaced. I would definitely stay here again if these things are fixed. If it walking distance to Pineapple Willys and a short drive to Edgewater shops and Pier Park. PS, if ur car won't start and you don't have jumper cables, the guard desk has you covered! :-) and vacasa is quick to respond to an issues. If you're reading this, I hope this helps you plan your trip.
Do NOT book through here!! They are hard to get ahold of and don’t care about your comfort or if you’re enjoying yourself. My husband, my self and our 3 boys has came down for my oldest sons birthday who is also autistic and hates being in the car and mine and my husbands marriage anniversary and they didn’t send me an invite for a QR code after they said the would and they prevented us from getting into our condo after 13 hours of being in the car we still was stuck in our car & they didn’t reply to me almost a day later!!! And the security guards at where we’re staying pretty much told us to wait for them to respond even though they close every day at 5 & closed on the weekends (we arrived on Saturday) even though I had the code to get in our condo, they have been very hateful to me also and act like I’m stupid every time I have to tell them I still don’t have a QR code and if you ask me I feel like the $35 parking that is charged is a crazy amount but that’s just me. We have 4 kids all together but our daughter didn’t want to come. Just don’t waste your time to book here!! It’s not worth all the trouble when you’re trying to have a relaxing vacation and enjoy yourself especially when you spend so much as is to stay in somewhere nice!
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The airbnb property I’m currently in is very misleading. Checked in to a stopped up sink on both sides (after it was fixed maintenance left the plunger in the sink), cable and microwave isn’t working, balcony chairs broke, rusty dryer. See pics below. Also it’s currently getting close to 24 hrs that I’ve reported two of the issues and no resolution yet. DON’T STAY HERE!!
Disappointed with Vacasa and the lack of customer service for our trip to PCB. The room wasn’t clean - mystery stains on bedding & towels, random spots of yuck on the floors, dirty walls and baseboards and more issues. Couches were also full of stains - had to spend $50 on cleaning supplies to make the unit livable. Vacasa wouldn’t send anyone out to clean or swap our unit - we were told to be patient and they would send someone. We stayed for 7 days and no cleaners came. Unit was horribly stocked with only one skillet (Teflon peeling, of course), broken blender and other issues. The screen was torn for the patio door and the bed was hard as a rock. I do not recommend Vacasa due to their customer service issues and do not recommend Watercrest 703 until restocking, deep cleaning and improvements are made. Bad place to stay
Do not book with them. The gate people are very rude and not something to deal with. They canceled our reservation twice. Save your time and don’t ever book with them
We completely missed our trip due to a hurricane. Even though the condo was not scheduled to be rented for several days after our stay was planned, they denied us staying ONE DAY after our reservation unless we paid more. (Mind you, we didn't make it there to get to ANY of our reservation as our cruise ship had us remain at sea for an additional 3 days due to the storm) Just terrible, stubborn customer service. It would have cost them nothing but kindness to let us stay at least one night since it was unbooked. I wish I could say we knew what the property looked like. It looked great in photos but the property management team sucked as they did not attempt to offer assistance of a redund of flexibility for our stay during hurricane Helene.
BEWARE of Vacasa! As someone who works in commercial property management, I know exactly what good customer service looks like, especially when there are issues. Let me tell you, this was the worst customer service I've ever encountered, with absolutely ZERO resolutions throughout our entire stay. Every time we reached out about an issue, we received the same canned response: "Our team was advised and will reach out to you as soon as possible." Our stay was for 5 days and 4 nights, and here’s a breakdown of the nightmare we experienced: Early Check-In Denied: We arrived around 3 PM after traveling all day with our dog. Despite the listing stating that early check-in might be an option if available, we were flatly denied access, even though the house was clean and empty. To add insult to injury, the code to enter didn’t even work until after 4 PM, leaving us and our dog stranded outside. Unkempt Yard: The grass hadn't been mowed in ages, with weeds towering above our knees. We contacted them on the day of check-in to get the grass mowed, especially since we had a dog with us. Despite daily follow-ups, the grass was never cut during our stay. Dirty Towels and Questionable Cleanliness: The cleaning crew left dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. When we pulled out a "clean" towel, it had hair stuck to it. This made us question the cleanliness of all the towels and bedding. We reported this immediately but received no resolution. Pest Infestation: The back deck was infested with roaches and sand fleas, and inside we had to kill numerous roaches and spiders. Clearly, the property had not been properly exterminated. We did get a text the evening before checkout asking if we wanted them to come and spray. By that time, we were packing up and told them to wait until we vacated in the morning. Lack of Basic Supplies: For a house that cost so much, the lack of basic supplies was appalling. We had to purchase hand soap, salt and pepper, paper towels, and there was only one spare roll of toilet paper. When you spend that much money on a rental, it’s baffling that these essentials are not provided. In summary, the property management's lack of responsiveness and failure to address any of our concerns made our stay incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. I have already reached out to the BBB, posted reviews on Airbnb and Yelp. NOT at all happy about the lack of professionalism on their part...and appears Im not the only one with a terrible experience!
Will never book thru Vacasa again. The room we booked had roaches and they didn't care at all. The floors were filthy and covered in sand. One of the bathroom drains was clogged and the balcony looked like it had black mold. We booked thru Vacasa for the Emrald resort room 2131. Will never book with thos company ever again!
