Convenient and clean. Indoor pool is not heated and pool area was air-conditioned- Really cold water. I guess it would be better to visit in summer as opposed to spring. Check-in/out staff was great. Owners/some of housekeeping could have been friendlier.
I don’t know how anyone could rate this hotel anything more than a one!!! It had four walls and that’s about all I can positively say about it. Our first room had moldly, slimy water in the fridge and it smelled like someone had pooped in it. When I complained they put us in a “better” room🙄. Fridge in there wasn’t working either and the bathroom was so gross my kids wouldn’t get in the shower or brush their teeth from the sink water, instead using bottled water. We chose not to eat breakfast there because everything was soooo nasty🤮. We tried everything to find a different hotel, but they were all booked due to being so close to the port and the cruises (which is why we were there too!!!!!). Do yourself a favor and choose Comfort Inn or Best Western if you’re staying in the area. There’s no way they could be worse than this nasty place!!!!!
Had a great stay here, Mary was SUPER nice and accommodating to not only me but everyone I seen her interact with. Really made the stay that much better. Close to so many things. Great value for the price. I would recommend.
Positive: Close to where event was and to highway access. Negative: Bedding was thin as I had to put my coat on bed for additional cover. My daughter say roachs were in her room. Pool was not heated as said. Not a lot of options for breakfast.
The hotel is old and feels old. It's in bad need of an update and fresh coat of paint, and you'd be better off spending a little more for a better stay elsewhere. The shower was gross and looks like mold is growing in some places. The refrigerator had rust on the outside. The bed was hard as concrete everyone was trying to get. They're were stains on the ceiling. Several holes where decor had previously hung, but was never replaced or repaired. And little things, like they couldn't even bother to replace the toilet paper room holder. The breakfast options were cold cereal, oatmeal packets, some muffins or toast, apples and bananas, and two waffle markers with long lines, since that's the only thing anyone wants. No eggs or any protein options. Overall a pretty disappointing hotel. The shower was the worst part. If you have to stay here, skip the shower.
Priceline cuts off same day at maybe 11PM (must order before) or pay double in person. Can ask in person for weekly rate $435 ($62 a night). Like this place a hair better than Best Western. Feels older but more home-like. The very end units have low water pressure. Middle is good.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Checked in yesterday afternoon and when walked into room it could have knocked you over with a floral aroma. We thought ok just maybe cleaned it. We opened window to help air out and left to have dinner with family. Came back several hours later with smell still being overwhelming. I called front desk to ask if maybe there was a plug in or air vent freshener I could remove. She stated not that she knew of. Cleaning crew took care of all that. I decided to head downstairs to front desk to see if we could change rooms. By this time my allergies were all jacked up! We went into 4 additional rooms to be knocked over with musky mildew. Both employees recognized it immediately before I could even say anything. My husband and after being up since 4am to travel was now forced to check out and find another hotel. Our theory is they sprayed floral room spray to mask the mildew smell. The manager on duty is the one who realized they had used her spray from the front desk. Moral of the story WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!
Positive: The staff was friendly. They were very helpful in any questions that you had. The rooms were clean. They were freshly remodeled, and the beds were very comfortable. Negative: ""
