Hotel was in a great location, very close to Times Square but not too close that noise would affect you at night time. The hotel room was very basic but fit for purpose. Because we were on the 21st floor we couldn’t open windows so the air conditioning was constantly running so after 10 nights we found we had sore throats as a result. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel. Staff were friendly especially in the morning at the breakfast bar. Would recommend this hotel for your basic overnight needs
I must admit I do think people were harsh when it came to reviews, what I had to say is that the rooms do need a lot of work some parts of the room look old and some parts are warn out. But the beds are very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were welcoming and the room cleaners did a good job.Our room came with a coffee machine and some cups and of course water bottles.Breakfast bar was decent not a lot to say on it.I would recommend this hotel if your only looking to sleep and eat breakfast. My favourite part was the location your probably a 7 minute walk away from Central Park and a 4 minute walk from Time square.
So much to say.. You will have clean sheets and a comfy bed to sleep in…but that’s it. Stayed for 2 nights, in 3 different rooms! Room 1- was not the room we booked- room was not nice at all- bathroom tub was so gross (be sure to read fine print if you’re looking for the newly renovated room) Room 2- A nicely renovated room BUT not clean. Bathroom not clean, toilet seat broken, floors not swept nor mopped- leak in bathroom causing a middle of the night slip! So we were moved to Room 3 - Again not clean, floors dirty (literally mustard packets on the floor and more) - Yes the location of this hotel is great and yes they are working on renovating but even the renovated rooms are not well kept. Management needs to clear rooms before allowing to book them. Customers deserve a clean space to stay in. I literally felt the need to clean the entire room but didn’t have the cleaning supplies. And then back to the manager at the front desk… She does not care! Zero customer service skills. Do better.
The location is perfect for a trip to Times Square and/or Broadway. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to accommodate. When we first arrived our shower handle fell off. The show also leaked out of the bottom of the door and had smelled moldy. The TV did not work nor did the blackout curtain. The location of this hotel is very nice, and the staff was very generous with holding our luggage while we explored the City even after check out. The parking was very accommodating as well. Overall the rooms need a lot of renovation. The staff seem to be trying their best but I have absolutely had much better stays.
Checking in with Racquel was absolutely phenomenal. She was so kind and attentive, I forgot I was in NYC! She took the time to learn about our visit and my family and started helping us out immensely with a once in a lifetime visit. She was truly a blessing. The hotel maybe under remodeling but his team is top notch and our rooms were amazing. Perfect location made better by the people they employ!
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT STAY HERE. Room was like a stay in the 1900s, trash under the dresser, tub brown, room smells like roach spray. The entire place needs to be renovated. My first time being disappointed by a hotel stay. Not to mention you have to pay to use a microwave?! Don’t stay here! If I could give 0 stars I would 1 is being generous! I slept with my clothes on because God knows the last time those sheets were changed. I was better off sleeping on the floor because the mattress was hard as concrete. I was extremely disgusted and unhappy! And for the price I paid I should’ve gotten a top notch room and service. I knew I was doomed when I hit the old hallway from the loud elevator. Thank God I was able to get my money back. The staff was extremely helpful at the desk but I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE STAY HERE AGAIN.
We have stayed here quite a few times over the years and we have NEVER had an issue, so i dont really understand some of the reviews others have left. Guilliermo and Mohammed at the front desk were so incredibly kind and professional ,they granted my request for a room on a higher floor with no issues. The rooms are newly renovated and they are immaculate and so nice. Housekeeping was so friendly and also the view was amazing too. It was only supposed to be an overnight trip ,but we were so happy with how helpful the front desk was, we decided to book a second night. Thank you, we will see you again soon! 😊
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. From the moment I checked in, it was one issue after another. The air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no notice that the entire system was under maintenance. Every morning, we were woken up by loud construction directly above our room—again, no warning. The toilet and shower in my room stopped working multiple times during the stay. I also requested more face towels that were never delivered, and I had to hunt down housekeeping myself. The worst part? This was my first time visiting New York, and it was for my birthday. What should’ve been a great experience turned into a huge inconvenience and disappointment. I booked through a third party, but that shouldn’t excuse the hotel’s poor service and lack of communication. I was offered a $150 compensation on chat by a hotel rep, but never received a confirmation or follow-up. I had to sleep with a portable fan just to get through the night. Absolutely unacceptable. ( I have videos of the noises and portable fan but Google doesn’t let you add videos)
