Great experience staying here. Provided exactly what we needed with clean, fully equipped rooms at a good rate. They were even helpful after the stay when I forgot my $100 vape pen which housekeeping found and returned to me 4 hours after I checked out. Would stay again if passing through again.
The hotel and the room looks really nice. The only issue was my room having an extra door in it leading to another room. I was woken up at 3 AM at night. Two couples arguing very loudly then I go to check out and I was accused of having a dog which I didn’t have a dog They were trying to withhold my hundred dollar deposit afraid to stay there again due to these issues breakfast was really good. The elevators are convenient.
My family and I were willing to overlook the run down rooms, gross pool and roaches in the "dining" area. We decided not to eat the free breakfast due to the high volume of of homeless people taking advantage of the "free breakfast". We ate at the IHOP located in the same parking lot instead. Upon returning to our room, the locks had been changed. We went to the office to get new keys so we could retrieve our belongings. When we got into the room we discovered that the maintenance person had used a grinder to remove the old lock and the debris had landed on my 1 year old daughter's diaper bag and blanket. Upset, I had called the office back only to find out that the front desk supervisor, I had just got my key from, forgot the language he used just 5 minutes previously. Moments later the maintenance Manger came to my room and threatened with physical violence in front of my 3 children and wife. We attempted to find another manager, but we just got redirected to the font desk. Bottom line is I'd rather sleep in my car at the motel 6 next door. Avoid at all costs.
I stayed here previously (I think before the pandemixc) - and it has deteriorated a bit. First, they ran out of soap! How does that happen? (When I complained, the front desk mgr. said, "We are running low." She made no apolgy.) Thus, the room only had a REALLY small container of liquid soap - that was it. Yikes! Second, the place looks beatup and old. Plus they charge a pretty hefty pet fee - the last time, they charged me no pet fee. (New owner changed La Quinta's no pet fee policy). On the positive side, my room was clean - as was the overall property. Also, the comp. breakfast was not bad. Lastly, a vey big and well maintained pet relief area.
The rooms have been updated but they are old and tired. I spilled some water and wiped it with the bath mat which in turn covered in mud. The floors were extremely dirty. You could see where Toothpaste etc splashed behind the bathroom sink needed to be wiped. The tv in our first room didn’t work so they kindly moved us to a room with a working tv but the cleanliness of both rooms was equally poor.
Check-in was good. Room was not. Bed was okay, but room looked clean but is worn. Dent and scratches in bathroom door. There were chips in the bathtub. Our second room had roaches in the bathroom. Rooms were very bare. ||Breakfast was out of coffee, they made more when asked. The waffles had a sour taste. The mix was almost out and clogged up. They had to unclog it twice.
Room was so so it looked like a Motel 6 when I walked in. The bathroom was awful the sink was not clean. The shower and toilet are was filthy hair in the tub and on the floor. Paint is chipping off the tub the shower head was so low and great if you are under 4 feet it was also ready to fall out of the wall. The room above had some construction going on most of the night they were moving furniture and possibly installing flooring. I saw the truck outside with saws on it when we pulled in and assumed it was a guest.oh and did I mention the pillows were the size of a small sofa throw pillow and very uncomfortable but you did get 2 for each bed. I just went to the lobby hoping to find a clean bathroom to fix my hair and make up and I found blood in the sink and no coat or purse hook didn't want to touch anything in there. The worst part is I spoke to the employee at the front desk about my concerns and he just looked at me and said okay and that was it. So that's why I decided to write a review. I hope they will do better in the future or close .
Positive: Nothing... Negative: I was extremely disappointed with this hotel! The room was nothing like the photos online. The bathroom was another nightmare! I have several photo's of the both rooms I stayed in 24 and 31 March 2025. Very dirty, stains everywhere a total mess!
