Stop here first when visiting Franklin for recommendations from a highly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They provided me with a map of downtown along with recommendations for places to eat, stay and play in the area. They also offer souvenirs and brochures of the area.
visitor center is great. took the trolley tour. it is described online to include liepers fork. when I did the same tour last year, the loop took 2 hours. now, for the same price, the loop is 1 hour and liepers fork has been eliminated. for starters, the website description needs to be updated to reflect the change. Also, the price for the 1 hour is the same as it was for the 2 hour. That is just not friendly.
Location closed for renovation. Temporary location at five points post office
So friendly and helpful! Great walking tour guidebook!
Dightful staff, great spot inside for a photo opp and postcards a and other Franklin merch. A good stop.
Lady suggested deli across the street and then Kilman ice cream.. both were very amazing
My wife and I stopped in with a couple of questions. The staff was engaging and friendly. They answered our questions and pointed out things to consider.
Located on Fourth and Main Streets in downtown historic Franklin TN. Designed to give you both a snapshot of the quaint downtown area as well as the abundant recreational, historic, entertainment and shopping options in Franklin. The shop-like center has some gift items to take home and give to your family like coffee mugs, postcards, t-shirts and artwork. Highly recommend stopping here first when visiting for the first time. When visiting for the first time, you may get lucky enough to find a parking spot along Main Street, the Public Square or Fourth Ave. If not, then there are two free parking garages in Downtown Franklin, one behind City Hall on 2nd ave near Main Street or 4th Ave South next to the Williamson County Judicial Center across the street from popular eateries. Note: The Visit Franklin Team hosts several social media sites to keep both residents and tourists alike updated on a very robust social calendar of events in Franklin and the surrounding area.
