What beautiful rest area with ample parking. It's beautiful and breathtaking. It's well maintained, and bathrooms are super clean. Picnic areas are available with electric outlets. Fenced pets area.
Beautiful rest area, plenty of parking for cars and trucks, vending machines, clean restrooms. The people working inside by the reception are so nice and they welcoming the people coming in. 👍🏻
Well its not very often do i ever go into a clean, well maintained, and happy staff. The men's restroom by far went above and beyond on standards of cleanliness next to Godliness. It was that clean. A 5 star review and ratings would be a complete insult. This review exceeds passed the 5 star rating.
Very nicely laid out space and theme and well maintained facility, no..no…it’s a small museum! Yes, it displays the local history and relaxing waiting area, beautifully designed as your own luxury living room. Very educative. You will be personally greeted by the front desk staff ! Shelters with benches for family picnic. The restrooms are very clean and well maintained. No doubt, there’s a sign for maximum of 2 hours stay !
This place is very clean but the security guard has no common sense. Actually I take that back. Allied universal does not allow him to use his brain. I do not blame the security guard at all. I rolled in there to use the restroom and take a 15-minute walk around because I was getting a little bit tired. I was approached by a security guard telling me I needed to move because they don't allow trucks in the car side. I am driving a pickup truck. There was another pickup truck in the parking lot at the time and two other cars total. There was about 45 empty parking spaces. When the sign says no trucks, it's talking about tractor trailers. It is not referring to a pickup truck registered as a passenger vehicle that is non-commercial. And if we use common sense and there's about 45 empty parking spaces, what's the problem?
So nice and clean. Thank you from truck driver 😉
Stopped around 1am. Travelling as women we are always wary stopping at night, but the security attendant was very polite and greeted us at the door, as well as the maintenance man that was doing a stellar job making sure the restrooms were pristine. We felt secure enough to stretch our legs and looked around where they had historical information and tons of brochures for attractions around TN. The vending area was well lit and stocked with multiple choices, and the landscaping and clearly-marked recycling bins were nice. Also, they have solar panels to help curb energy use, which was a nice touch as well. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping.
The best welcome center we have ever been to! Thousands of travel brochures, huge selection in the vending machines, very clean and accommodating. This is a tourist stop!
